After reading the chapter 16 of getting real, first come into my mind is there is a few closing thoughts that we need to understand, and this is the last chapter of the getting real, and I learned a lot from this book you will get a lot of information that you can apply in your web application or in other project.

And in this chapter they entitled it conclusion and for me it is the true meaning of this is with the right idea that fits the product, passion that will make the software more beautiful and skill that will make the application more effective and efficient. For me these are the most important factor that you need to achieve to have a better application, and in short you need a heart to appreciate all these things.

In this chapter they talk also in balancing the right people and how to choose a better people that you will hire in your team. Because when building application all of you must have a determination and passion, and if you have this determination in return your team will become successful and eventually you will finish the application on time. The Chapter 15 of Getting real talks about the Tune up, issue a major update 30 day after launch, in tuning up the application it is checking or validating that all function in your application must work effectively and efficiently. According to the use of application this will work properly according to what the application is. In tune up this is the process where you check all the bug, errors; add new patches that will affect the application, if you have a company and you ignore to tune the application the effect of this is butterfly effect because it will make your customer not satisfied to your product and if the customer are not satisfy your income on the company will go down because of the poor outcome of the application. These customers will no longer use your application and they will shift to the other application because of the poor performance of application and they know that the application is not bug free or error.

After you launching the application the most important is to maintain the good flow of the application, make a better relationship with the customer and understand the customer feedback, and one way to preserve your customer in a sticky subject post and make a conversation in a blog site that will remember what your product can do, in this case the customer will always in the mind of the market.

This chapter 14 of Getting real talks about different thing, and first is the Feel the Pain which means tear the walls between support and development this chapter talks about the context has a direct impact on the customer on how wee design a thing or application. Meaning in building a application you must build a wall that is not far from your customer build a wall that is toward to your target customer. Because one key to success is to build and have a good relationship with your customer, company who make the product must support it in a way that the customer can feel this is a secured because the company are supported the product.

In doing this thing by giving support to the customer it is favor for the company because they will monitor what are the product defects or errors by the customer’s feedback and reaction about the product. In this case you will create a good product and you and your customer will have a better understanding to each other and relationship to each other. And in appointing the person in the customer support system be sure that this person know a lot of information about your product because if the person in charge are not knowledgeable about your product the impact of this is the communication with the customer will have a difficulties and not treat in a nice manner.

It is important to understand the customer feeling their needs and wants, not just it is they need but think what their other affairs to talk are. The chapter 13 of getting real talks about the customer and application how to handle and implement right application, and it said that creating a excitement in your application catch the customer so in order to do that you need to make a Teaser it is like in the Hollywood they do this before they launch the Movie so that the customer make more face attention to the film and figuring out what is the film. It is just like in your application before launching the application make a Teaser about what is your application and let the your customer know what your application, so the customer and the market are aware and they are not shocked if they saw your project in the future. But in releasing a teaser of your product do not expose all of the feature or the whole application make more detail but short.

And for the next approach that Getting real talks about the Preview, make some previews about your application, and to apply that you may launch your preview over the net if your target customer is on the web, and if you are going to launch it on the television if your target customer are not using the net. And in launching the project be sure that it shows about your project function, uses, capabilities and other information about your application and the affect of this is the more exiting preview you launch the more the customer more attracted and more exited to buy your application.

In launching application you must check or verify if you are advertising a good application with proper advertising. It is like saying that a functional specification is needed in order to have a better team, and it is also a support to a programmer and developers to work properly and to minimize the error. In this functional specification the developer will have a determination and what they do have a meaning to them. They tell also that the document is different in the discernment of the reader. Meaning that if there are a lot of details and specs in the document it is more hard and despondent to the developer and programmer of the company. Because it is there is a possibility that complication and error during the building of the project.

And in order to minimize the discernment of the reader you should limit your specification of the project easy to understand and easy to interpret. You should write the specification which is important and need only in the project.

And if the correct specification is ready it is time to start the code and the user interface design of the application if the user analysis is finalized, they do this in order to limit and avoid the revision of the project during the code and if you complete this the result of your application is very nice and you will complete you app on time. In chapter eight it talks about it said that you hire as you want but make sure that you hire a better person, but in choosing and hiring a person don’t hire and hire in your company because you think that person is the best and suit for the company that is not practical thing. So to make it simple and easy to understand you hire best people but hire people which are important which is necessary to the company and have a better output.

Before hiring a person of applicant make a test or analysis if that person suits for the company and in your team, and in comparison to that it is like choosing a best girlfriend which makes you happy and in relation to that you choose which the best is. Choose a person with a better understanding which is the hard worker person because you just need to hire people which fits in your company you don’t have to hire a super brainy people all you have to do is to hire a better, best and necessary to the company or team.

It all about integrating a team t oa better process of application, and as a member of team you should monitor the different thing in the process not get lost of them, I qoute some line and it says that “Even better, hire people with multiple talents who can wear different hats during development. The end result will be a more harmonious product.” Meaning even if you get the better person with unity and with respect I think you’ll be end forming a pleasingly consistent thing or product.

Alone Time

It means that whether in morning or night you can get the most work done, means even you are alone you can do such a better thing, if you are not bored and interested to the subject. It said the alone thing is where the progress comes, and it generalization the meaning of alone is letting go of your different task without sense and get to work hard to finish your work.

Meetings are toxic

This topic talk about what is the essence of meeting and how we use this is proper place and time, to begin with it tells that in setting up a meeting you should elaborate what are the main point and topic of the meeting to simplify and discuss it quicly. Getting Real Chapter 6

This Chapter talks about in enhancing website strategies, and what are the priorities in making website. To begin with in using the application of web you should see what are the important and enhance it while you will remove the ideas without work to your application, it is good to remove some data that not so useful and helpful to your application.

It also said that in making an application it is hard to create at first time you might have encounter some version, try and try until you finish your application perfectly. “Work Smarter not Work Harder” meaning if you do a thing or task you should work with your brain to lessen the error of your work.

It also talks on how to gain ideas, because in making an application you should also get what are the people wants to make your application more useful. It also talks on technique where you prototype your work it is called sketches and other trials, to make it cheaper. It also talks the html and in this topic it tells that you should make an html version to see and share to people what is your work and in that you will gain information and reaction from the customer it is like a beta testing style.

And after you do the Sketching, Prototyping and Beta testing and other stuff you will initialize and implement it to your work. To begin with it’s all about web building and to elaborate this it is all about how to build a better site and to do that first you should think the best strategy to build a better web application; you should think what are the factors that make the website successful, and will make the end user impress about it. It should be a nice formatting, nice graphics and effects and most of all user-friendly. You don’t need to make an insane website but you cannot afford it and you don’t achieve your time to do it meaning you can not build it on time. In making a web application the most important here is what is the bigger one meaning focus the main important thing to do.

In building an application we also need to reject the invitation of our clients because there’s a possibility that we might not finish the task and if it is happen it a lot of trouble to us. We need to know what are the scope of this website because if it hard to do and you cannot do it within the due date you cannot accept it and when you think you have the guts and knowledge to do it grab it and take the opportunity.

There are a lot of features in building a website and you should think and analyze what the customer said to you because you need to follow the rule and want of your customer. In making a website or web application you should advice your customer what is applicable in the website and what is not. Because what the client wants is to solve the problem to help them.

What I’ve learned in this chapter what is the strategies and technique in building a better website or application. You should analyze first what the customer wants and you should focus on the main point of the problem to minimize the error and to make more efficient.
